Friends of the Charles City Public Library
The friends of the library is a 501(c)(3) organization that was organized to supplement the programming that the library provides to the community. In addition to providing funding and volunteer support to the library. They are manage
d by a volunteer board of directors that assists staff and coordinates program funding. The board also awards a yearly scholarship to an Charles City High School senior. Membership in Friends is open to all individuals, families, corporations, organizations and partnerships. Dues are $5 per year, however the Friends will accept any level of generosity. All donations are tax deductible.
